Recently, one of my student's parents has told me that they play their daughter's video cheers on their big 50" tv as a family and they try to learn the cheer themselves. They said that every time they see it together her confidence has boosted tremendously.
Some activities that you can do with your students:
* read a story aloud using a sound their learned
* create a cheer with a routine about a word (phonetic/sight words) they learned
* use figurines to create a story relating to a concept you are teaching
* create a video lesson teaching a concept or sound they have just learned
